Bitcoin

Bitcoin was released by the pseudonymous creator Satoshi Nakamoto. This stable entity represents the author who used that name to publish the paper and software and launch the network; it does not imply that this wiki has identified the person or group behind it.

  • Satoshi Nakamoto: Bitcoin’s white-paper author, original software developer, and network launcher; underlying identity unknown.
  • Chandler Guo: included as an early investor and mining figure, not as Bitcoin’s founder.
  • Li Xiaolai: included as an early buyer, educator, fund manager, and industry investor, not as Bitcoin’s founder or core developer.

The directory may include people with research value to a network’s history, but it distinguishes founders, core developers, investors, miners, and ecosystem figures.
